Titanic 1912, when that foghorn whistle blows
Stu's View of Titanic 8"x 8" Acrylic on Hardboard. Painted last night in the comfort of my warm bed listening to Van Morrison's CD Moondance, Favorite track Into The mystic. Don't often listen to music least of all when I 'm painting this was in the player and seemed to fit the mood. |

october 27th: my favourite things 2
i decided to pour myself a little tipple to sip slowly whilst i read a graphic novel that i had borrowed from the library, the view as i took a drink inspired me to grab my camera and capture it for posterity

october 26th: tumbling down
cutting through an alley on the way to work and i was taken aback by the rich reds against the lush green leaves, and was also reminded of my dad's photo from earlier this month

october 25th: Ash in Kentish Town
the final date of Ash's Free All Angels 2011 tour, featuring Charlotte Hatherly rejoining the band to play the album in full
as i've said before, my camera is seriously lacking when it comes to live shots, the photos i see being taken around me put mine to shame, but i do like this image

october 14th: but is it art?
it's actually just a cropped screen grab of an address i was looking up on google maps, is it just me or do the people in shot seem to have had some sort of filter added?
the little girl in particular caught my attention as she just didn't look real, she looks almost painted on instead of being ran through the usual procedure of having the face blurred, with this in mind i then decided to display it as a piece of modern art.

October 12th: an occasional splash
an occasional splash of creativity
when the days aren't too wayward
the possible outpouring of passion
with every rising sun
or perhaps a dusk fuelled moment
that will now live on forever

October 11th: Akira The Don - Babydoll (Hunchbakk's Ready? re-rub)
created for a remix competition, this is my attempt at remoulding Akira The Don's track Babydoll as i saw fit
it can be hard working with somebody elses ideas and trying to translate them in your own way, i'd had a couple of ideas for how i wanted this to sound but just couldn't get it to takle shape
with a little bit of patience and a bit more tinkering with it, things just seemed to fall together by accident
it may be a little bit rough around the edges, and far from my proudest piece, but i think you get the idea.
Akira The Don - Babydoll (Hunchbakk's ready? re-rub)
completed by Glen Byford on October 11th, using Sony Acid
created using the original seperates from Babydoll and sampling a PSA on marriage preperation from the 1950's
