The weather beaten Monk.

Painted the Monk last night tried to give it some texture
with a pallet knife as the original art work is a wooden statue
standing behind the church at Waltham Abbey.
Was pleased with the Monk but the background was a little to
uneven so gave it some photoshop same affect but cleaner.

An older posting of the Monk moved and heavily photoshoped

When I was about 9 years old or there about's there used to-be a colouring competition
In the Daily sketch newspaper every year to win tickets to the circus
at Olympia, Earls Court, London. Don't think it was really a competition just luck of the draw,
but it did make you feel good,  A WINNER,  when the tickets came in the post, this happened
a couple of times to me.
