a handful of plans
soon descends into
a lunchbox full of post-it notes

26th July 2014: Yes
Yes
You like to tell the world
You like to tell the world that
The world is wonderful
Giddy praise
And
Boastful ways
Here I am
And
Here I am
And
Don't you wish
You could
Live my
Life
Here
I
Am
Having
Fun
So
Much
Fun
Don't
You
Wish
You
Were
Me

22nd July 2014: future lost
a washing up bowl of murky water,
your numbered days are growing shorter,
senses dulled to the future lost,
for without change you'll pay the cost.

15th July 2014: connecting with nothingness
another half hour spent connecting with nothingness
vapid idling becomes the norm
as we socially destruct
too busy to live
and too connected to try
scrolling into an oblivion
where only our screens are illuminating

Time shifter, Still got the hat and the beard
40 years on
The hats got mouth holes in it and had the bobble cut off,
I've had bits cut out but not lost my marbles.
