Glen did not swim swollen rivers, climb bard-wire fences,
no he just grabbed the little feller, from beside a dustbin
a fate that should not befall any soft toy.

So why so fraught with danger have you ever taken some thing home ?
when you girl friend has said  " I don't like it."

September 20th: 3-1 down and still singing

my first ever football match was quite fun!  a Carling Cup drawer for Shrewsbury away to Arsenal meant that a friend that i don't see often enough was travelling from Shrewsbury for the match so i bought myself a ticket.

Shrewsbury even managed to take the lead in the match, but as the second half was drawing to a close they were 3-1 down.  Yet the supporters still kept chanting, singing and applauding for their team.  i guess they were just happy to be here.

September 18th: Happy Xmas

sadly, it is becoming more and more common to see Christmas products in shops earlier and earlier each year.  I didn't, however, expect to be wished merry christmas by an A-board outside a car park in enfield town
