february 8th: bubbles burst

aspiration slips through 
the gaps in my life,
bubbles burst by jagged
reality,
i dare to dream but i don't
dare deliver,
i falter,
i pause,
i'm passed by,
and perhaps i should be 
depressed,
but it's easier to cope,
with a head full of hope
