The garden is now getting it 2013 makeover,
the washing line had to come down,
 enabling the large containers of trees and shrubs
to-be dragged about like scenery on a  film set.   

july 28th: in my garden 3

the flowers are beautiful, if only it wasn't such a pain in the arse

between this growing further out and hanging further down, and the bellvine that continuously tries to keep creeping up, I've really got my work cut out for me

was tempted to throw a few coins over the fence
it meant I would of had to walk back, may be next time .

Spirits of Green

A ghostly apparition from the underworld,
spirits of past vegetation,
a albino Nasturtiums ?

I looked again in wonder at the very delicate structure,
it looked like lace, some sort of fungi,
it only lasted in my garden a few hours before toppling over and wilting.          

My own Jurassic Park

Gardening is all about creating contrast, something to catch
the eye no need to spend big money.

it has been so rewarding watching these tomatoes ripen, and i can't wait to tuck into these soon

the first signs of ripening on the tomatoes that i have been growing in my garden, since my dad gave me three small plants that he in turn had been given, and have been grown in a grow bag purchased from the pound shop

When I trimmed the cork screw willow,
I stuck four cuttings in a corner of
the garden, only one has survived
dampening off or the ravenous slugs,
don't like using slug pellets,
so every night before the stars come out
the jar goes on

And I've got a small black plum
growing unexpected from a
discarded stone/pip from last summer
