Wishful thinking

                              The sun has got his hat on

     It was those word from a cheerful song that inspired this

collarge of extracts from my photo album.

it was out of desperation, looking for some thing to post up

that I started snatching a sample from this and that,

as I began to complete it, I was getting that warm glow of 

success, all I need now is that big breakfast.

Will the sun turn up? Well any things possible.

Come on get up !  Move your self

its a bankholiday.

Forget the Arctic blast

Think of warm summers past

Turn up the heating
have a cuddle or just some sleeping

august 12th: Sun Street

It is a shame to see so many shops and pubs shut down throughout Waltham Abbey, the result of a downturn in our economy, leaving mostly empty shop windows and making what was a quaint and quiet little town even quieter

above is one of a number of mosaics that line Sun Street, the main street in Waltham Abbey, showing signs of ageing and wear and tear and desperately in need of renovation, much like the town itself
