Dipping for a line

A Byford Post.

In our rush for gold from Beijing to Stratford
are we forgetting the security of our planet,
grab a handful of that money, now run.
Is it green ?

SHOREDITCH

London
Sunday 17 June 2012. Shoreditch London.

It felt uncomfortable to walk out on to the street, and not see
familiar buildings, land marks that had been there over a century,
that was the feeling, unexpected bewilderment.
As the new face of the city pushes its massive sleek engineered
Crystal towers sky would,
The surrounding deprivation awaiting its injection, of societies
drug, money. Meanwhile the pop up shops,
small time street traders scratching a living out of next to nothing
and the wannabe entrepreneurs make it a lively relaxed
community with hope.
